Take Your Fish Oil

First, let's talk fish oil.  Right now, you're not getting enough Omega3 fat in your diet.  Heck, neither am I.  In fact, Westerners are getting way too much Omega6 in ratio to Omega3.  For these 36 days, we are going to fix that.

Here's how to find out how much fish oil you need:
Find your body weight: 200 pounds
Divide that number by 10: 20
The second number needs to be divided by 2: 10
And the third number is how many grams of fish oil you need per day.  (In this example, Racer X needs 10g of Omega3 fish oil.

Now be careful.  If you go to CVS and pick up any old Omega3 fish oil, most of what's in the capsule is gelatin.  Read the fine print!  What you're looking for is the DHA & EPA contained.  Add those two numbers up and that is how much Omega3 fat is contained in the pill.

So.  If Racer X needs 10g per day and there is 500mg (or .5g) of DHA + EPA in the pill, simple math would say that Racer X, in his futile attempts to avoid Speed Racer, needs 20 pills per day.  The better the Omega3 fish oil, the fewer pills you need to take.

Finally, do yourself a favor and freeze that stuff and take them before your meals!  It cuts down on the fish burps.
