Sweet potatoes aren't exactly Paleo but serve a good purpose as a post-workout meal, replacing glycogen storage in the muscles depleted after a thrashing.
After a rough 5K Row and a bunch of time spent in awkward gymnastics poses, I cooked up a half of a sweet potato immediately after getting home.
What's your take on sweet potatoes? Strictly forbidden, post-workout only, or a starch that is used in your normal rotation of meals?

sweet potatoes are still straight from the ground, so i think they are fine. especially with all the benefits they provide. i wouldn't eat them daily, but definitely for dinner once a week or so.
